since my computer is down [finally] i was deprived of anime for awhile until recently
but while waiting i kept myself well entertained reading mangas
all manga are currently uncompleted and most of the are shoujo manga except one
the shoujo manga are:
Boyfriend
You're My Girlfriend
Faster Than A Kiss
while the other manga is Liar Game


Out of the shoujo manga, faster than a kiss is just so awesome
background story: A girl and her little brother loses both their parents, sick of staying with relatives she drops out of school and they run away. Her teacher comes to find her, eventually marrying her.
Question played over in the book is, Does the teacher really love this student?
The teacher is super cool! Art is awesome, as expected of a shoujo manga and it more comedy and romance

Liar Game is a more upbeat manga. As the title states its about a game called Liar Game, where you do alot of lying. Sounds easy, except that you are playing with 100 million yen. Should you lose this money in the process you are 100 million yen in debt. Enter Kanzaki Nao, foolishly honest, definately not a strong player but with the help of an ex-con, Akiyama she scrapes through each game.

This manga is fresh and interesting. it makes up for the poor art. Once i start to read i cant stop reading. For those who cant stand the art style, there is the drama version with Erika Toda as Kanzaki Nao. The performance in the drama is well done
very worth the watch,

Okay i finally got my [home manicured] hands on the latest Sheryl Nome album while i was ondring around the internet looking for eien ni, one of the songs in the album
How did this start?
Well, every once in a while i would have this self proclaimed Karei's get music spree
i was supposed to get music for seitokai no ichizon, k-on! and kuroshitsuji
but i somehow ended up with more hur hur

For those who still dont get it This is the Macross Frontier:The False Diva movie's mini album
so what does this album hold?

im now enjoying her songs as i type
what are my first thoughts listening to this?
I think is very fresh and new with unique tempos
shows a diifferent side to sheryl nome's singing [or May'n for that matter XD]
and definately SEXY!~

i finshed kuroshitsuji
i felt that it was interesting and sebestian is super suai!!!!!!~
new character to fangirl over!
ciel phatomhive doesnt lose out in terms of character story
he is so deliciously complicated but as the story progresses i have learned to relate to him and his thinking
the estate servants add a good amount of flavour into the story
i have quite learned to love [and miss] them when you learn about their past
[Meyrinn is awesome without her glasses seriously]
[and i came up with this habit of saying ho...ho...ho when i see tanaka somehow my precision is so right because the ho...ho...ho is in unison XDDDDDDDD]
but lizzy is ANNOYING
yeah
i started to dislike her after she thoughtlessly destroyed ciel's precious heirloom
but her sincerity to make it up to him saved her abit
side characters were memorable
madam red and greil LULZ
most memorable
for people looking for a well spun tale then kuroshitsuji is the right anime
the art is most pleasing as well
i cant wait for season 2

-new miku wig extensions
-a long gown pannier [so i dont have to borrow lol, its not nice to constantly borrow in my opinion]
-a large eyeshadow palette [giselle did mention of a nice large palette that can be bought online]
-mineral make up [so as to not kill my skin]
-miku hatsune goods
-cash donations are welcomed too XDDDDDDDDD

not bad to be able to stare at a picture and figure out what i want for christmas
without looking at the picture
i have more that i want,
some can be granted
like a faster computer dadada
while others are questionable
like i want my own set of housekeys
not that i need it so much but still
a later curfew would be nice

ummm to watch Cirque Du Soleil's Reverie
my brothers used to bring me to watch Cirque Du Soleil performances when i was younger as well as in Las Vegas i think a year back or so
I have grown to love that very much
this time i dont think theres anyone to bring me
ill still hint to my eldest brother later
i do really want to go
infact he was the one who first started bringing me to watch Cirque Du Soleil performances

afa 2009 was a blast
i swear there are more people this year as well
on both days i got cauaght in walls of photogs
super fun
for your info
day 1: youmu konpaku from touhou
day 2: miku hatsune cantarella version
i cant really describe the cosplay part in words so perhaps you can go to thebanzaieffect or sgcafe and take a look from the photogs view
kaname was there
i didnt get to catch a look of him at all TAT
i heard that he did simon from gurren and cloud strife from advent children
i didnt manage to catch the whole of danny choo's talk however i did catch the later bit
it was informative and interesting
i enjoyed it very much

so onwards to my favourite part of the event
I LOVE ANISONG CONCERT
it was beyond words
shoko-tan really had the crowd going, songs i knew and i didnt all seemed so awesome
i must listen to them once again
definately my favourite performer this year
miku hatsune was good
not the best im sad to say
i mean why programme her to sing only 3 songs
i was hoping for supercell songs or songs like the disappearance of hatsune miku
TAT
but still she was fun
i was hoping so much that she would be in hologram mode
sadly not it was not meant to be
i guess i wasnt the only hardcore miku fan in the crowd
[YES PEOPLE I BROUGH MY LEEKS HOHOHO]
there was a lolita on in front, left of my place who brought something that resembled a leek but wasnt
there was another pair of leeks i saw on screen on the far right
lol miku fans
aniki was very engaging, he talked alot to the crowd
i understood some parts from the little bit of japanese i knew
"I am kobayashi!"

he was also very energetic
if it was possible i would have been blown away from his loud voice literally indeed
fukuyama was very new with mebut i must say he has great talent
he promised to bring his band, JAM Project the next time he comes to singapore
i am looking forward to it
and i cannjot forget his playing of diamond crevasse on his guitar
i was screaming SUGOI because it is
May'n was a very how would i say "packed" performance
it was song after song after song
hey not that i mind, i love her songs
she sang pink monsoon as her first song
some songs from other animes like Shangri-la
songs from her album, some were yet to be released songs
and she cannot miss MACROSS FRONTIER SONGS

diamond crevasse was a duet with fukuyama
it was spectacular

the people i met at afa were not the ordinary people i met at other cosplay conventions
like some were people who knew me but i didnt know them
some were just nice strangers who helped me
somehow i dont see this so often
especially the latter
i guess all these people made my time at afa 2009
and i look forward to afa 2010!~

So ummm i crashed k-on while i was sewing
and somehow while its nice

it wasnt to what i expected
like it was draggy
and maybe i have been watching shows like clannad, ef, macross frontier [in the watching]
but one thing that all these shows have in common is a learning point
but for k-on nah
not much if you ask me
[or maybe there is a learning point, being the guitar knowledge you pick up]
its interesting, funny to a certain extent
but not getting me
i expected more
but on a positive side i like the costumes
awesome designs
i may just cosplay meow~

i watched the utawarerumono ova a few days back
im super sad that because the original series contained sooooooo many characters i have forgotten many characters' names
hakuoro, eruru and aruru are easy to remember
but karura and and and SHIT I FORGOT HER NAME
*checks sources* oh wait its touka
okay so three episodes
sad to say i didnt get what i wanted
the last episode was extremely saddening
i mean... what kind of ending was that?!?!?!
Episode 1 and 2
we see the motherly side of some of the group especially urutori and karura
okay... not too interesting but not too boring either
there was some fighting but... *sigh*
go on to episode 3
SADDENING
why? the episode is just surrounds touka, hakuoro and oboro
i love touka but i love eruru and karura as well
they need moar screen time ESPECIALLY eruru
i mean she is like the female lead isnt she?

okay what did i expect from utawarerumono ova
fighting technically warfare like the series
abit of fighting here and there but not enough
the characters are made so awesome that its such as waste of talent if i may say

but the reintroduction to the series was nice considering how much i missed the series
it would be nice if there was a proper season 2
